Working with a coach is the path of least resistance, setbacks, and time drain. You don’t have to be a self-care expert to maximize the benefits of self-care!

 

In fact, if you put all that time and energy spent seeking and trying all the things INTO YOURSELF, you’ll benefit the most from your self-care practice.

When you do too much or the wrong kind of self-care, or when you exhaust yourself with never-ending searches for that ‘next thing that will be what you need’, you’re actually going deeper into discomfort, dysregulation, and overwhelm. 

Every human being needs a self-care plan that is designed to support the nervous system by NOT adding to dysregulation or overwhelm because the nervous system is fundamental to healing, recovery from discomfort, and our ability to thrive. 

 

 

Self-care, healing, and change can already be a bit dysregulating to our human nervous systems because our nervous system naturally, protectively resists change. 

 

And change is EXACTLY what self-care is supposed to do, it’s what you WANT…so your self-care plan needs to include helping get your nervous system aligned with your goals and desired outcomes from your self-care. Otherwise it can be frustrating, full of setbacks, and time consuming. But with support, it doesn't have to be.
