I am having surgery to remove an adrenal gland tumor [and adrenal gland] April 8, so…there are some announcements and temporary changes going into effect so that I can shift my focus onto myself and my family.
I have temporarily withdrawn from my degree program and am reducing availability of 1:1 Client sessions prior to surgery through my recovery process (May), though I am still maintaining sessions for those who have purchased the Annual package. And the 8-week WholeCare Session is on hold for now…I will either run this session after my recovery OR I will create an online version while I’m recovering…that is to be determined post-surgery depending on my recovery needs, announcements will be made at a later time…however, I will still be sharing information about wholeness-based self-care while I’m slowing my pace and recovering so you can get excited about learning a quick practical effective type of self care that activates natural healing, or UNlearning consumer-based self care that may be inadvertently adding to your disconnection from self or others or depleting your resources of time, energy, or money…
To see my available appointments, check out my appointment scheduler…and if you are a member of the Annual Healing Package OR are really hoping to get in for a 1:1 before my surgery date but DON’T SEE ANY APPOINTMENTS (or none that work for you), please reach out to me via email: info@michelleclinard.com so I can try to fit you in.
I expect to make a full recovery and get back to all the things I’m passionate about asap; however, I am prioritizing my health needs and my time with family…
Because, let’s be blunt, if there were a complication or unwanted outcome during the surgery, the last thing my loved ones will say about me is “I’m so glad Michelle was working so much!” or “I’m so glad Michelle finished that class!”…but they will appreciate the time spent with them.
I also want to be sure that I’m in the best health possible pre-surgery to set myself up for the best possible outcome…that means reducing stress and tending to my needs.
Some of you may have read ‘My Story’ on my website or heard me speak about my experience with a health crisis that initiated my journey into energy medicine…but for those who are not familiar with my story, this adrenal tumor I’m having removed has been in my body for over 10 years and causing issues that could not be measured or labeled/identified with a diagnosis by Western Medicine. Energy medicine, WholeCare, and somatic healing techniques for healing trauma, and nutrition have been helping me navigate, manage, and mitigate my related symptoms through the last 8-10 years even when medical doctors couldn’t. The bonus to this approach is that it also helped with reducing my symptoms of Generalized Anxiety(GAD), panic disorder, and depression. These are the same techniques I use with my clients and will be teaching and supporting in my WholeCare and ThriveLife programs…once I recover.
This adrenal tumor has been quietly taking up space in my internal world for too long. My personal journey of healing and growth is one that is ongoing…even though I show up for my clients to facilitate natural healing, I am still having my own human experience. I am happy to lead and teach and guide, but I am not one to put on airs that I am, somehow, more special than anyone. I believe we all have more power to heal and influence our human experience than we have been led or conditioned to believe…we are all special and amazing. I hope to show you how to tap into your power and practice with it until it feels natural once I am recovered. For me, this surgery is part of my journey…it is an obstacle on my path, one I have been dealing with from a wholeness approach for some time…I’ve addressed from a mental, energetic, and emotional approach and NOW IS THE TIME FOR A PHYSICAL APPROACH. The physical body is the key to all healing [meaning all types of healing – physical, mental, and/or emotional healing]…it is the body in which integration can be done and deep, long lasting shifts can be made which we can experience through sensation, reaction, comfort, relationship, and wellness. I am ready to physically be done with this tumor and have it gone from my body. I feel that this is the ultimate ‘letting go’ of past pain and limitation related to past childhood trauma. Healing that has been made possible by a) not being in contact or relationship with my abuser and b) a wholeness approach to healing/health.
I appreciate this community – my clients past, present, and future as well as those who are working their own processes. I look forward to what comes AFTER this surgery, because I have a clear view of how I want to show up for all of you and what wonderful ways we can learn, heal, grow, and support each other. I wish I didn’t have to delay the WholeCare program, but I am certain that this experience will help better prepare me for what is to come…because I am resilient, hopeful, and passionate about community, (w)holistic healing, and helping people overcome limitations experienced in health, relationships, and life outcomes!
I will still be popping in with lunar energy readings, resources, information, and updates while I’m preparing and recovering from the surgery April 8 so please stay tuned for what comes next and thank you for being part of my journey and for being interested in what happens to me personally, as well as what happens within this community.
Also, at the request of many concerned friends, family, colleagues and clients…if you are interested in supporting or helping me get through this surgery in any way, you can do so by sharing content, inviting friends to like or follow me on FB IG or YouTube, become an affiliate so you can get paid to refer people to my services, or to invite/share the link to subscribe to my email newsletter ‘Thrive’ to receive exclusive content…
Best, always…Michelle
