Conversation with the Full Libra Moon (tend to your emotional needs as you ride the waves of intense energy)
Everything is as is within this full moon time and beyond…humanity is experiencing a mass global shift in perspective in relationship to safety, finances, health, and connection. In spite of any uncertainty, grief, fear, or vulnerability associated with global and individual circumstances, there is a wave of calm and acceptance of what is as is washing over Earth the way a gentle tide rolls over the sand. It may ebb and flow, as the tides do, but it is important to notice and allow it to wash over you when you do
Libra energy enhances partnerships and community, bringing diplomacy and balance to Earth and all who indwell it…forging new partnerships and creative new ways of being and doing in the world as ‘one community’ has great potential, those exploring ideas and action to move forward into a new way in a new world – one being epically transformed by a shift in perspective regarding systems, operations, equality, and humanitarian needs as you face this common connecting force of nature simultaneously united and isolated. Air element energy rises up through the moon portal to shine a light on creative ideas for connections within small communities, families, businesses, and the world. For those riding this creative energy tide toward new possibilities in regard to serving humanity through the airwaves of the internet will likely reap the rewards of their efforts. Air element is associated with energy and thought, adding the heightened element of intuition/creativity will serve the dreamers and doers well in the coming weeks…
In contrast to the waves of peace, calm and acceptance of what is as is… you may experience waves of emotional discomfort or numbness. May you find comfort knowing this feeling rises from a release and transformation process of epic proportions for those riding the waves of lunar energy. Tend to your needs individually and be gentle with yourself (You first, others will thank you as they reap the benefits!), so that you may tend to the needs of others more effectively and extend that gentleness… Libra brings the energy of balance to all relationships, both with yourself and others – though taking action will amplify the results.
To help ease any tension within your relationship with self or those with whom you are sharing small spaces with, open your heart and mind to other perspectives…accept that everyone is coming from their own experiences in their body, mind, heart, and in the world…just as you are. There is no ‘one right way’ for all, as life on Mother Earth is not a ‘one size fits all’…common experiences being shared on a global level or not, you will find more peace and connection when you find the middle ground…the balanced center of the scales…between your perspective and that of others.
One thing to watch out for in the coming weeks is people from your past rising into your awareness (or reaching out by message or phone), particularly narcissists or anyone who leaves you feeling small or depleted. There is an energy surrounding the lunar energy that suggests you may be facing old wounds surrounding connection or love…as the moon illuminates your darkest shadows, you may find yourself triggered by your need for love and connection from the past that when fueled by isolation and deep need for connection under these socially distant times may temporarily render your ability to choose the present over the past. If those who hurt you, made you feel small/insignificant, isolated you, or took more than they gave return to you for connection or closure…be sure to step back from them, not towards them. Tend to your safety, emotionally and physically, and take necessary measures to choose moving forward rather than backward…at the very least, wait until you have returned to a state of physical connection with loved ones before choosing to engage with those you have outgrown.
Lastly, the moon reminds you to tend to your mental/emotional health, as they directly affect your physical health. During this time when humanity is physically vulnerable and facing a common viral antagonist it is of the highest priority to take steps to help your body process uncomfortable thoughts and emotions. There may be discomfort, but you have more power within you to shift the tides of emotion within yourself than you’ve ever been allowed to believe…now is the time to believe it. Now is the time to seek connection for this purpose – to process and release yourself from old, uncomfortable, limiting patterns of thought, emotion that often turn into physical symptoms or a suppressed immune system if left unattended. You need yourself as much as you need others…all are one, one for all…globally, universally, and beyond.

Well, we are all in this together…but we are all weathering our own individual storms within this unprecedented collective, global experience. May we continue to unite…which begins and ends with how we tend to and treat ourselves in the worst of times, under the most uncertain circumstances. It is important to honor yourself where you are in each moment in terms of mental/emotional state, but to do so in a way that facilitates wellness and balance as much as possible. Some simple ways to help yourself cope and process and recover from the waves of grief, anxiety, worry, fear, uncertainty, and/or vulnerability in whatever way you are facing at the moment include:
- be gentle with yourself, it will help you and your gentleness with yourself will trickle down to others
- acknowledge and accept your feelings and state of being/mind as they are without judgment as much as possible…we’re all experiencing ups/downs and highs/lows, even lack of focus, confusion, and other disconcerting feelings/moments (I don’t know what day/time it is anymore, I put on two bras at the same time yesterday, and I laughed hysterically until I cried the other day…it may have been a little scary to witness, for reals…things are not normal right now, which we can try to accept and not get attached to or overthink…resistance or over-processing adds to the overwhelm of the moment and makes the discomfort persist)
- Breathe and tap gently over your heart when things get big/intense
- try to get some fresh air/sunlight daily if it is safe
- stay hydrated
- create and maintain some type of routine/schedule
- utilize the free resources so many are offering in support of our global community…show up for yourself, you matter and your emotional/mental state does affect your physical health
