New Moon in LIBRA September 2019
Conversation with the Moon:
Pay attention to how you feel in your body, your emotions. New Libra moon energy with the Equinox energy combine to move you into balance. Whatever you are feeling, even if it makes no sense or you’d rather not acknowledge it, is in the way of you finding balance. It is time to heal the hidden emotions you’ve been carrying with you, they must be neutralized or released so that you can shift into balance with the energy around you. These unconscious feelings are not aligned with you or your heart’s desires. The release of such underlying emotions will allow you to synchronize with what you are aligned with and take action toward.
You will know what to address by what you observe. Where do you ache? Where are you experiencing imbalance? What emotions are out-of-place right now? If you have headaches, backaches, digestive issues, arm or leg pain…ask yourself: What are you pushing down or avoiding? What are you unwilling or afraid to see or acknowledge? What truth are you not expressing?
Perhaps it is easier to hold it all inside, out of sight deep within your darkest places…but that feeling is a lie. The lie is that staying in your comfort-zone is easy or more comfortable, when really it is your ego trying to keep you safe from pain you’ve experienced before. Ego remembers and tries to keep you safe from experiencing pain or from getting hurt/disappointed…both emotionally and physically. The comfort is only that you are familiar with it, with the familiar scenario of blocking it off, holding it in, and stewing in your old pain or struggles. What price do you pay from holding it in? You feel stuck, you feel pain, you feel a sense of disconnection, you feel small, you feel…unbalanced. It’s time to step outside of that familiar safe-zone with so many limitations. Be willing to acknowledge what you feel right now and for the coming weeks to help yourself shift into balance with the help of the moon and equinox energy.

This moon energy comes with the Equinox, when the Earth tilts into alignment with the Sun to bring about the balancing of day and night, and light and dark. This is the time to face what lies in your dark places, to observe or embrace them as part of your whole. Doing this can be daunting or overwhelming with BIG or PAINFUL emotions, or feeling physical discomfort…but avoiding it can be as bad or worse, in the long run. To support yourself, breathe and tap gently over your heart to release emotions; breathe and tap gently over your abdomen to help process/assimilate emotions; or breathe and tap gently on whatever part of your body is having aches/pains. Be gentle and kind to yourself, listen to what your body needs: Rest? Doing something? Doing nothing? Hydration? Company? Alone time? Create some time and space to honor and tend to your own needs…even if it is only 15 minutes, you deserve it.
